All participants in the podcast industry, whether professional or student, are welcomed as members. Students receive a 25% discount on dues.

When completing the membership application, applicants will select a title from the list below. Regardless of the many hats you wear, please select the one that best defines you.

• Behind the Mic

• Industry Journalist/Reporter

• Student

During the application process you will have an opportunity to tell us more about what you do in podcasting — please select any and all roles you perform.  All applicants will be asked for an industry reference.  If you know an Academy member, you will be asked to list their name and only one reference is needed.  If you do not know a member, we will ask for the names and email addresses of two podcast industry professionals.
